Chad’s Story

“Trying to fill a void left from graduating college and not playing baseball anymore, I decided it was time to start lifting weights. At the time, I began to train myself with what I thought were the best methods out there. Year after year I had avoided CrossFit thinking I didn’t need it to improve anymore- until finally I was so sick of my normal gym routine that I walked into CrossFit Portsmouth and took my first class.

Not only did I quickly realize how badly I needed the conditioning, I learned that a lot of my technique and nutrition had been incorrect and needed significant improvement. Since that class 18 months ago, I’ve been hooked and haven’t looked back!

CrossFit and the coaching at CFP have allowed me to take my physical health and conditioning beyond anything I thought I was capable of- I just wish I had stopped in years ago!”
