Why was joining CrossFit Portsmouth one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life? When I hit my mid-thirties, I had really let my fitness go. I was overweight and out of shape, and I knew I needed a change. Some ladies from my office had just started CrossFit and were really enjoying it so I took a chance, and I’m so glad I did. I take 4 or 5, hour long CrossFit classes per week. I can honestly say that it’s the first physical activity that I’ve really enjoyed since I stopped playing football 17 years ago. In addition to the fun and challenging workouts, the awesome coaches helped me find a diet plan that works for me. I never feel deprived, and I still get to enjoy my favorite things (the occasional craft beer and ice cream). I’ve lost 25 pounds while adding quite a bit of muscle and strength. I can honestly say that I’m in the best shape of my life. And last but definitely not least, I was new to the Seacoast area when I joined CrossFit Portsmouth, and I find their community to be amazing. I’ve met some of my best friends here. What else can I say? This place is the best!
