WOD – Tuesday 12/6

Gratitude is definitely a trendy word around the holidays. It is important to reflect on things you are grateful for, but to me, it is more important to understand that gratitude doesn’t need to be reserved only for momentous occasions: Sure, you might express gratitude after receiving a promotion at work, but you can also be thankful for something as simple as a delicious piece of pie.
Gratitude in the gym is exactly that. Sure you can be grateful for the huge PR’s, but what we should most grateful for is the ability to even show up. Being able to come in and do the things you do on a daily basis is not something you should take for granted. Working out with such an amazing group of people every day is what I chose to be grateful for, regardless how much weight is on the barbell.
